Have been looking at these cases for a while and unless I'm missing something (which someone will no doubt point out!) it seems really cheap for the 4 wheel cases.
Argos has small medium and large and the colour is pretty inoffensive (not floral or some other ridiculous colour) so seems like a good deal to me. I know there will be the usual haters of theses cases ripping them to shreds but thought it was a good deal

Saving of £7 on the medium size. Better than nothing I guess.

The cases do rip easily, but the 4 wheeler is much better than the 2. With the 2 wheeler, the wheels flex and cause the bag to drag across the floor. With the 4 wheels you've got much better maneuverability!
Don't put anything you don't want to be broken in one of these and you'll be fine! (Heat)

Agreed... I only ever use this suitcase for trips where I'm driving. Too flimsy, for my liking.

Surely that defeats the whole point of these lightweight cases then?

I have 3 off these cases in varying sizes and been to a few overseas holiday/business destinations with them without issue. They are very light and if we carry something in them that is delicate, we simply wrap it in a towel or clothes for protection. Heat added.

We've done loads of road trips and flights with these cases, which means they've had loads of handling and moving around. After about 7 years they are still in good nick. The fibre glass rods of the frame have broken in a couple of places but that is easily sorted with a bit of fibre glass curtain rod off ebay.
The key to using them for a long time is to make sure you fill them to bursting. Think of them as a light wrap for your luggage rather than a sturdy container.

I agree completely. They need to be filled, and as they're soft, anything delicate needs to be wrapped in clothes. I had a two-wheeler, the axle of which sagged and the bottom ripped through (it's now an underbed storage bag). No such problem with the four wheeler.

Very light, but not very durable. Exterior/Interior fabric easily rips, frame collapses. My last two large size 90L have lasted a total of 3 flights between them. Some may say unlucky, I say poor quality. Durability has been sacrificed too much to reduce the overall weght.
Took them both back and got refunds under the warranty, but will never buy again.

Had one for a year and the lining is ripping and will need sowing back. I honestly think they're just marketed very well (as being super light weight) but the durability is 100% sub standard.
Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't buy another one.

I've had mine for a few years and various flights. Mines the cabin-size one so most of the time it goes on as hand luggage so maybe hasn't had as much abuse as it would if it was checked in (it's been checked in a couple of times though). I'd highly recommend the smaller one though as it holds a lot for hand luggage, and being lightweight obviously helps with that!
