Looks like Intel wants to saturate the market by lowering their ridicules prices before AMD releases ZEN :smiley: This might be a very interesting year. I was planing on buying Intel but I decided to wait for ZEN.
Just by looking at pricing model and performance of R7 480 4/8GB (Polaris) vs 970 one can safely say that finally nVidia and Intel will have to stop ripping us off! :sunglasses:

Well fingers crossed for Zen! The 970 is a 2014 card, I don't think this is a sign that Nvidia will change their ways any time soon :disappointed:

This is better as it can be overclocked. Even if you don't plan on overclocking I would buy this as the resale value will be more in the future.

Yes at the very least the 6600k has a higher core frequency (3.5ghz) in addition to being a "K" version of the processor - meaning that it is unlocked (basically for the purposes of overclocking).
