Ebuyer displays that trade-in is available on this PC, but when I checked the HP trade-in site it only shows the following desktop:

Prodesk 400 400 G3 SFF - W4A22EA - 01/07/2016 – 31/07/2016

This is a totally different model as it is the SFF model on this PC. If you are going to buy, check with HP if you will give you the trade-in with this PC. Trade in is only £100, not £125 if you spend between £200 - £349

I think Ebuyer has got outdated information on their website, this PC was in the Trade-in for June purchases, but not July purchases.

How does that trade-in work? I have an old PC I built myself back in 2011, with parts from various places. How does that make me eligible for a £125 saving?

For your Trade-in to qualify for the promotion it must be a working, complete and undamaged, (reasonable wear and tear accepted) Laptop (minimum 10” screen size), Tablet (minimum 9” screen size) or Desktop. Your Trade-in must be no more than 6 years old (age limitations are not applicable to genuine Microsoft XP computers) and complete with all accessories including working battery and power supply where applicable.

Okay, thank you - that means my ancient (but <6 years) HTPC would qualify, hmmm... tempting! :smiley:

Looking at what PSU it comes with, the specs say:

Power Supply
180 W, up to 85% efficient, active PFC
300 W, up to 85% efficient, active PFC

So it's a gamble which one they've thrown into it? :disappointed:

Looks like you are right, the above one was in the cashback for June but not July, the cashback values have not changed though so I don't see where they got the £125 from (unless it was £350 plus in June).

Damn !! I got a dinosaur pc but I'm out by about 10 million years :disappointed: heat added though.
