Both seem like really good options, includes 5 Year Manufacturers Warranty, which is always a plus. Personally would prefer the 8KG the silver colour. Delivery is free too.
This Samsung model has a 7kg drum, so it’s perfect for a medium sized household. Using ecoBubble technology, this machine injects air into the detergent to create bubbles that penetrate into fabrics fast – meaning you get a deep clean at lower temperatures. For even better stain removal, select the Stain Away setting which adds an extra wash phase to your cycle – giving you spotless results. For those days when you’re in a rush, there’s a brilliant 15 minute quick wash, so you can refresh a P.E kit in no time.
Samsung Ecobubble WF80F5E0W4W 8Kg Washing Machine with 1400 rpm - White - £354
Delivering fantastic results with every wash, this Samsung washing machine has an 8kg drum - ideal for a medium sized household. EcoBubble technology mixes water with your detergent before it enters the drum; this creates a layer of cleansing bubbles that sink into fabrics 40 times faster than detergent alone, so you get spotless results even at lower temperatures. The Stain Away option can be added to most cycles - boosting the power of your detergent and lifting away tough marks with ease. A speedy 15 minute quick wash is ideal for small mid-week loads too

It plays a tune?! Is it Enter Sandman by Metallica?
I have this machine and it's bloomin marvellous. The kids love the little tune it plays to let you know it's all done, it's really quiet even when it's spinning and the silver/grey is very smart looking too. Hubby goes on about the elec it's saving too as it's really economical.

Think that's over now, buddy. Different model number, not checked differences. Possible not much to be honest.

Be aware of the way AO handle their after-sales commitments before you purchase anything from them.
I hate to say it, but having experienced it, I'd rather buy this from Currys.

It's a twinkly perky song that the kids say sounds like something off Mario Kart. Don't ask me which tune they're on about though, but it's more Rainbow Road than Bowser's Castle.

Yep, looks like code has expired...

Just bought a Samsung from John Lewis, don't know if it's better than this but it had a lot of money and a 5 year warranty

Christ, it would have to be.
Don't think I'd buy one of these Samsung's unless it was from John Lewis. The 5 year warranty is some legal and general crap so it's pretty much worthless.

John Lewis is no great shakes these days either! That said I did get compensation, but not without a SEA of stress

John Lewis have been shocking when it came to a delivery of a washing machine for me. Check out the trustpilot reviews if your thinking of buying from them
We've just had a call out on our ecobubble (problem with debris filter at front). The machine is just over two years old so was covered by the 5 year warranty we got. Had no probs, obviously had to be persistent on phone to get call out but once they authorised it the engineer was here the next day! All working now. He recommended putting it on a cotton 95 wash once a month and keeping on top of cleaning the filter (esp. if in hard water area like us). I don't think you can beat a Samsung though (unless you have the money for Miele).

We bought 8kg one about 8 weeks back from argos for just £5 less. So this is a great deal for a fantastic machine. Wouldn't worry too much about after sales service. This is a washing machine covered by manufacturers 5 year warranty. Unless it's in first 28 days when u have option to get refund, you wouldn't even have to deal with ao in case it develops fault....

Clearly you have never had real problems with an appliance!

Be careful their disposal of old machine is £24.99 e.g. JL is £9.00 so needs to be factored in

Ive got the 8kg , and to receive the 5 year warranty you need to register your purchase on the samsung website. If you dont you'll only have the standard 2 year warranty.

This is a fantastic washing machine ve had it for about a year now, im defo buying this for my own flat too. I like the delay timer on it and the fact that i can adjust each programme: temperature, spin to whatever i ve thrown into it. It plays a time when it's done which is much more difficult to ignore than a beep. Me and my partner go through more laundry than an average 4ppl family so this machine is on basically every day. Great buy.

I have this its is level and it rocks when spinning.
Personally I would never recommend, and because I bought and failed to register straight away they would not honour the warranty

Just to clarify, they are both 1400rpm too.
