According to various health research sources, eating supermarket branded burgers and/or sausages once a week will increase your chance of dying by 100%, research also shows that you're equally likely to die at some point by NOT eating them.

They didn't have the sausages in Arnold, Nottingham so replaced them with 16 thick Richmond sausages instead

I have such a love/hate relationship with these deals. On the one hand I love the value, on the other I hate that the stock is so low for certain things every single time so I have to either find the master list of substitutions or just make one up. It's a right ball ache!

Great deal from a super ethical company. Love their meal deals.
The Co-op has always had a purpose beyond profit, and corporate social responsibility has been embedded in our approach to business since our formation over 150 years ago. We are guided by the long-established co-op values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity.
As the UK’s largest mutual business, with a retail presence in every UK postal area, sourcing from over 1,600 supplier sites in more than 60 countries, and offering insurance, legal and funeral services across the UK, we have both a responsibility and an opportunity to have a positive social impact, and this sits at the heart of being a co-op.
We are working to protect the natural resources that our business and wider society depends on. Not least by addressing our climate change impacts, taking a sustainable approach to waste management and minimising our use of resources across our business.
As a purpose-led business, our members, customers, colleagues and suppliers are central to all that we do and key to our success. We aim to deliver value to stakeholders in a socially and environmentally sustainable way.
Our ambition is to make the co-operative way of doing business even more relevant to even more people. Central to our Purpose is our commitment to campaigning, to ethical values and sourcing, and to delivering and retaining value in our communities. As always, we look to set ourselves challenging targets and report back to our stakeholders on our performance, both good and bad. With our open and honest sustainability reporting, we aim to earn consumer trust and deliver a sustainable business; one that is both commercially driven and ethically focused.
