What a silly statement. At least you have the decency to rarely comment.

Back to the deal.
Cheapest time to book November flights to New York is now as they have been dropping but will start to rise again soon. Went for a week last November and had a fantastic time relatively cheap (although we still spent a couple of grand on tickets and gifts etc that we needn't have, well it was a big occasion).
Free Staten Island ferry for great views of Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty (go once during daylight and again after dark).
Go up the Rockefeller building about 90 minutes before dusk so you get to see the views in the day (Central Park and the iconic Empire State Building), see the sunset and then NYC by night. This saves both time and money as there is no need to visit again.
Half price bike hire through Groupon to enjoy the delights of Central Park. (think it cost about $18 each for 4 hours but we were enjoying it that much that we paid the fine for late return - about $9 an hour)
$4 ferry across to Brooklyn, have a burger from Shake Shack and then walk back across the World Famous Brooklyn Bridge (or you can walk both ways). This helps get rid of some of the calories I suppose.
See Jersey Boys on Broadway. They have a free lottery draw for every performance, just look on their website. We paid $27 each for our tickets, they should have been $85. Theatre was only half full so I guess that everyone who tried this way for tickets got them at this price. I saw about 20 names on the list when we picked our tickets up.
See the famous Radio City Music Hall Xmas show. This was incredible. Tickets can be pricey, as high as $350 each....or....you can buy 'restricted view' ones for $49. What restriction ? We were in the front row of the 2nd level, barely off centre stage next to the sound booth. We didn't even know that they were there.
However, we were very lucky with the weather for the week that we were there. Wall to wall sunshine and temperatures around 18 degrees apart from one day when it rained which became our shopping day. November usually has cold north easterly winds so just be aware of this.
Lastly, have a great time.

Where do you lot shop in NY? there's no outlets or anything. I went to one mall in New Jersey don't remember what it was called but it wasn't that great.
NY sucks overall imo. Weather isn't great and it's the only place in the world I've found people to be as rude as in London.
But I have to say, NYC has the best restaurants and food esp Pizza.
Miami/LA/SF is much better, great outlet malls, bargains.
I bought a £120 polo shirt I saw here for £22 in Miami, great weather/beaches too.
