Never seen one of these attached to a boat

But you said it was for pushing the boat out - isn't that an oar?

To push the boat out means to throw a wild party, to do something with real vigour, or to incur a large expense.

You wouldn't want to be doing any of that on a small boat, it might sink.

I got two of these from CPC for £1 each about six years ago, only just about to install them now.

we got one of these a while back, the seals were awful, moisture got in and blew the fuse board. there were lots if similar reviews at the time which look like they've been removed.

Also available in white.

If it's anything like the cheapo one Homebase sell, it's a nightmare to wire as it's push connectors not screw and you need a small bulb to fit it.
