No wonder it's discounted. Value for money, probably soon at Poundland.
For proper use go for one with COB LED.
Had 2 of these. Both useless, lasted a few months, then into the bin. Worth about a pound.

Shame you couldn't work out that it was possible to buy 2 at once, which I did. Because they were cheap, and looked a bit like a Ring lamp. Both of them failed to recharge within a short space of time, and both went into the bin.
What is it about that 'cool story' that troubles you? And wtf would be the point of making it up?
