Don't touch battery operated one's, pay the extra for the rechargeable version.

If you've got them, you could always stick a rechargeable AAs in this. Not quite as convenient, but it's an option.

Battery operated, not rechargeable, so hot from me.
Problem with rechargeable toothbrushes is that unless you have a plug in power supply in your bathroom which a majority of people don't, you have to take them elsewhere to recharge the darn things.....

I use a plug that isn't in the bathroom... Problem with battery operated electric toothbrushes (which you will find out) when the batteries gets to half it's life the head doesn't rotate as fast so you don't get a proper clean like you would if it mains rechargeable. You will use a lot of batteries this way, you will have a lot of half used batteries laying around.

Rechargeable ones are better, and I have one at home, but also have one of these for holidays. Also available for about the same in B&M.

I bought this yesterday to replace my failing rechargable one. It's just as powerful and from reviews will last a few months before needing new batteries (at which point I'll use rechargable ones I have). Very happy as for me its better than a £30+ one

I have had one of these for approximately one year now and I'm very happy with it and can recommend.
I considered models from £100 down, but they all had their issues e.g. Poor battery life, needing a power source,unnecessary add-ons and so on. I don't have a power source in the bathroom and so this is a real issue for me.
After many hours of searching, I decided to plump for the cheapest on the market and I am very happy with the purchase. In fact, I'm going to buy another one for my son!
