I've had the 5 portion grill for over 6 months and 2nd one today :)
Tip Cooking Pizzas
- Make sure the grill is in tilting position, If you get an empty pot noodle cup or larger king pot noodle cup (these can withstand heat from the grill) and place it under the protruding handle, you can cook small to medium sized pizzas with this grill, or cook a medium sized pizza cut in half with this grill.

Homebase has a Different George Foreman grill model, the Argos one has a much better handle for opening
Plus you can use nectar points at argos!! 538 points/£2.69 Making your purchase £15.30 at Argos!!

Good price, but cold from me. We were going to buy one 18 months ago - reduced to 19.50 in Sainsbury's. This was on a Friday - come Monday the lot had gone! Then back up to around 35 - 40 quid where it's hung for ages. Saw this and thought, yep I'll get one - usually on Argos you go there to find sold out. Nope, they have loads around here in all the Argos's. Hmm. Do we really need another item that will get used only now and then? But it is a good price... OR IS IT? Just looked around and others seem to be offloading them.
HOMEBASE is just under a quid more. So nope, I'm out! Won't bother.
link to Homebase (it might be nearer for some than Argos!)
Actually CHEAPER at Homebase if...
Like me you have 500 Nectar points loaded to card (expires 10 Aug) on next shop at Homebase, + the 38 points - if you have this on your Nectar card too, you'd be daft not to buy from Homebase. 538 points effectively £2.69 off so GF Grille will work out cheaper at £16.24.
Cancel your Argos order and go to Homebase. I might even do it now!

I have 3 problems with George Foreman grills.
1. All retailers seem to discount these products, suggesting that the manufacturer instigates them. This makes it difficult to compare the genuine reduction from the fake one.
2. Why aren't removable grill plate models standard on all models these days? They are a pain in the aerosol when you can't fully immerse them in water for an easy, thorough clean.
3. The grill plates don't last. They seem to last not much longer than the warranty itself. After being shafted with this in the past, I am put off buying any more of these products for this reason.

I had an offer for one of these direct from George Foreman a few years ago. Bought on impulse due to the price reduction. A great bit of kit for healthy cooking but admit I do not use it much. I wish I had paid a bit more and gone for one with removable plates so easier to clean.

The possibilities are endless! Here are just a few scenarios:
One adult sobbing over their grill with just one portion
Two adults with ONE portion each
Two adults with TWO portions each
Two adults FIGHTING over the fifth portion
1 adult and FOUR children each having a portion
1 adult eating FIVE... YES FIVE portions!
No portions! It is turned on but there are NO portions!

Yes you can make 2 toasties sandwiches at the same time with this grill just make sure cheese, ham or other content is placed in the center of the bread leaving 1cm empty border around the crust of the bread to stop leaks.
Can also make 2 Slices of toast with this grill

16 Jul 161#41
just picked one up, il start by saying it's okay for £17 but the retail price of this thing at £39 - 69 is way way too much.
I picked up a Gino Decampo panini press last year for about the same price and this is not that much bigger again 3 chicken breasts top I would say and two large sirloins.
it's the build quality though, im sure it will work fine but there is no locking lid mechanism so if you lift it by the handle the bottom flips out, the metals are already scratched out the box (yes this was a sealed unit and unused) the paint finish on this is not great but I know its not for sitting out all the time as a show piece I get that but the Gino machine was much higher quality with thicker metal and overall felt like it was built to last. this feels ever so flimsy. Even the floating hinges are crunchy and just metal spokes sitting in a cut out, no buffer or silicone washer to give it some smooth and quality feel.
overall for £17 if it lasts a year il be happy but would not even contemplate it at rrp

Maybe if I was going to save a massive amount of money. But it is a bit too much of a hassle for £18 ish  (it was £36 from Amazon) and I'd honestly worry that I'd somehow get caught! I worry unnecessarily about things like that :/
Why is it bordering on fraud? I would do the same and it doesn't make any difference cos Amazon would be getting back exactly what they sent out! Simple!
