Today's daily Kindle deal is some of the books in The Witcher series, which most people will know from the video games that were based on these books.
The Witcher (Polish: Wiedźmin, Polish pronunciation: [ˈvʲɛd͡ʑmʲin]), by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, is a fantasy series of short stories and novels about the witcher Geralt of Rivia. In Sapkowski's books, "Witchers" are monster hunters who (with training and body modification) develop supernatural abilities at a young age to battle deadly monsters.
They are quite well rated and are normally £5.99 a piece.
Note: the The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny are not part of the saga, but are short story collections. They are highly recommended to read before reading the Saga books. Unfortunately book 1 and book 4 are still full price.

correct me if i'm wrong but it looks like its books 2 & 3 plus 2 collections of short stories available at this price, books 1 & 4 seem to be more expensive

You are correct - the chronology of these is a bit confusing.
The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny are both short story collections, but highly recommended to get into the canon the series.
Book 1 is full price, as is Book 4. Books 2 and 3 are priced down.
I bought all and hope that Book 1 will be priced down by the time I finish the two short story books. It does put a bit of a damper on the deal. I'll fix the title.

These books send me back to my high school days. I recommend them to every fan of the Witcher video games or anybody waiting for the next "game of thrones" book.

This is spot on - the reading order is a bit awkward to get your head around!
The two books of short stories are first chronologically and are excellent reads.
I prefer physical books but this is a great deal for the e-versions and great books.
