Why pay interest when you don't have to? If you've got outstanding balances on other credit cards or store cards and are paying a higher rate of interest, you could save money by transferring them. Pay off the total transferred over a 39 month period and there is no interest to pay on that amount.
0% interest on balance transfers for the first 39 months with a 2.69% fee
0% interest on money transfers to your bank account for the first 39 months with a 3.94% fee
0% interest on balance and money transfers is applied to any transfers made within the first 90 days of opening your account, if you make your minimum repayments on time and in full each month. You can transfer up to 95% of your credit limit

Good deal if you are sensible with your credit. Put your day to day spending on a 0% purchase credit card and flip to a 0% balance transfer card. Keep the money you would have spent in the bank or offset your mortgage. Ok you don't save a massive amount but a couple of hundred quid a year of "free money" isn't too bad.

I've just got the 21 months 0% balance transfer card with no fee through top cashback and got £33. This is literally free money as I've not paid a transfer fee. Also I think by putting a balance on it I've also got club card points too. I would go for this one. Winner winner chicken dinner

Be vary careful with Tesco credit cards as it often isn't clear if a card includes bank transfers as well as balance transfers. I applied to a card I thought allowed for 0% bank transfers and got a nasty surprise when I got the first bill.
Got no warnings that it would be full interest for bank transfers, phoned up to complain and got "well you should have applied for our bank transfer card instead" (which I didn't even know was a different thing to apply for). Checking on their site, it seems the offers fluctuate between including and excluding them (without explicitly saying so) on their balance transfers card which is confusing as hell.
Currently in the process of filing a complaint with the ombudsman.

transfer your balance to another card, so that it ends up in credit.
then just give card 2 a call and ask for your credit back...
