How is this a hot deal? £199.99 for a nearly four year old failing console that was only about £50 more than this at launch. I've owned lots of nintendo consoles, LoZ is my favourite game franchise, but this Nintendo has been a huge let down

Buy one now. the Wii U is great. Loads of great value and good games, plays Wii games as well.
Yes the XBO and PS4 are better, but for sheer fun and value for all the Family the Wii U is brilliant.

They will be better until the best game of all time is released (Breath of the Wild). Then, even with just that one game, the Wii U will be better.

Yeah, with only about 8 months left until the NX is out the Wii U should cost less because anyone that has waited till now then they can hold on to a several more months and get a brand new console. There'll probably be a NX bundle for £270 so if one were to save those £200 for now then they'd just need £70 afterwards.
Zelda:BotW is likely going to be better on the NX than the Wii U but I'll just get it on the Wii U although if the NX has a solid launch lineup then scratch that! NX edition will be!

As much as I enjoyed my Wii-U I don't think I'll be buying another Nintendo console ever again. Not only have I had no reason to turn the Wii-U on in the last year but they delayed the one game I was looking forward to so it could be the centre piece of their next project. If they really expect me to accept an inferior version of Zelda after showing my loyalty they have another thing coming. These really are sad times.

The Wii U fanbase keeps voting Wii U console bundles to keep the spirit alive around HUKD. It's definitely not worth £200 or £240 (this deal was voted cold previously).

That's a poor comparison. The Wii U game has scenes very similar to the 2014 footage when in wooded areas hunting for food etc. The two image are of totally different areas. But yes, I do hope the NX version has beefier graphics. It's not all about graphics, but who honestly wants to play a muddy pixelated mess in 2016/17?
