Scan your card at checkout and ask for a coffee, they give u a cup....unsure about paper though.

You can get the paper at the checkout, it's the guardian or the mail. They scan it and it comes off the bill.

Excellent deal, from which I benefited from today. Have some heat. Note that in my local store Weetabix 48s weren't marked up as 2 for £6, perhaps because it's such a new deal. But a friendly Waitrose store person checked for me and confirmed it is 2 for £6.

Just add a paper to your basket, the cost is deducted before you pay. Choose from Guardian, Mail, Sun, Telegraph or Times. Just say you want a coffee or tea, you'll be given a cup. [You can bring your own reusable cup if you want to be eco-friendly, but remember to "buy" the tea/coffee before using the machine. Otherwise the Waitrose Coffee Gestapo may waterboard you in the back office. ]

£5 minimum spend on weekdays for the free newspaper, £10 on weekends.

But the coffee and newspaper price count towards the £5/£10, so best case you only need to spend 85p on actual stuff. The pre-offer price of the Weetabix means buying just that can qualify even for the weekend paper offer.
