I really don't rate these for sound quality atall. Maybe I'm becoming deaf.

Can't be beaten for quality. Iv gone through so many speakers and these are by far the best. Crisp sound and impressive bass considering it's so small.

Something is wrong with both of your hearing, lack bass but the sound is very good and certainly better than JBL's.

Have both a pair of the original booms and a pair of Megabooms and the only thing I can fault em for for what they are is pairing to double up can be a right pain in the ass to get working.

It's the bloody UE/Logitech software inside the speakers. I was able to double up the speakers when I first got them but several updates (which are supposed to improve the speaker) have made it nigh on impossible. Their support for the speaker is so bad that I've now moved to JBL. Instead UE are churning out more new speakers without supporting the older ones (which weren't cheap).

I have this and the Bose sound link mini 2. The Bose bass is much better and overall sound superior but ue boom 2 gets more use due to its rugged nature. It's fully waterproof so you can use it in the shower, far less delicate and the sound while not as impressive as the Bose is certainly adequate for a small room.
For the price it's defo worth it.
