Went to collect the counter top fridge on offer (from HUKD), saw turf Un-priced, and bags of top soil. Picked up 2 rolls for lawn repair, paid only £0.50 per roll. Receipt shows damaged, but pallets of the stuff outside, all perfect. Fill your boots if needed.

Turf was also reduced at Trafford Park B and Q tonight, but down to a quid. Lots left near the entrance.
I think the poster is trying to suggest Turf Rolls sound like Tootsie Rolls, the American sweets?

I'll sell you a pile of mud and dead grass for 20p if that's what you're after buying

No thanks, the rolls I bought were fresh and moist, if I could post a pic I would, but don't seem to be able to. Entitled to you comment, but at least make it relevant.

you should never buy reduced turf. needs to be cut and laid within 48hrs. if it's reduced....It's already been lying to long!

I bought some at 50p a roll a few weeks back, was completely yellow, after a few good waterings it's come up a treat.

I took some from my local store. Laid them on my allotment, and fed with high nitrogen fertilizer. Came back fine after a few days.
