Considered getting one of these for the boy (3yo)... Instead I got him a ballance bike when two and he now rides with us on a bike without stabilisers!

Just one note of caution - these wreck the paintwork on the child's bike where the clamp fits to the frame of the bike. It has to fit very tightly to be secure, but to get it that tight leaves one hell of a mess of the paint. Put it this way, don't expect to use one of these on your expensive Islabike and then get top-dollar when you come to sell it again!
As a note, we found it too much of a pain and I think it only got used once and then was sold again. We got the kids riding by themselves and that's much more fun anyway :smiley:

my son loves this!! we can go all across London with this. even main roads though stuck to quiet roads at first. liberating!

Good price though!
As a note, we found it too much of a pain and I think it only got used once and then was sold again. We got the kids riding by themselves and that's much more fun anyway :smiley:
