This is a very decent price for a great quality garment. Only size L and XL left but its a steal at that price.

Is 600 Goose down good for the money and how warm will it be?
Apologies for the stupid questions but I have no clue on this stuff! My main coat is an expensive parka that keeps me warm in the Nordics so have no clue how these things compare!
ps I dont want this for the nordics....more for autumn / winter weather in the UK / US etc

600 is a measure of the quality rather than absolute quantity of insulation. With a higher number you can use less for the same effective warmth. It's not particularly high relative to pro outdoor gear that might use 800+ but unless you have a real need for weight and volume minimisation, it's probably still a lot better than most high street down jackets rarely list a rating.
