Seen this in two tescos so more then likely a national deal as they will be selling these off

Was 4 in the Leigh store, just got 2 of them though to pass onto friends in need of a vacuum. They also had a 3 pack of universal bags for £1 on clearance.
Label was full price but scanned at £11 so got to be a national price

Definitely. Should be standard in all supermarkets. I just use em to check clearance stuff, as opposed to doing the shopping. As the labels arent always upto date.
Netto was first place i saw em probably about 8-10 yeara ago. They just had a few terminals on the walls to scan your stuff under to double check the price. Then several years later Tesco came out with the handy updated handheld version

Totally agree remember the days when Tesco only had one downstairs and all the expensive stuff was upstairs.....that was a bind, but I always took the stuff back rather then litter the scanner area....didn't want to give them a excuse to take it out lol
