Been looking for a tidy pool for the back garden ready for the summer.
I inflatable one (about 8ft) maybe 2 years ago, it lasted all of about 3 weeks.
My brother in law bought one of these from Tesco last year and is still going strong. He said the metal frame is much better than the standard plastic ones you get on pools.
Product Information
Large enough for the whole family, this 12ft quality round metal frame pool provides hours of summer fun. It features heavy gauge 3-layer laminated PVC walls to cope with all types of wear and tear. Its durable, above ground design makes it ideal for paddling or lazing around on sunny days. Includes pump.
H80cm x W360cm x D360
Comes with Filter & Pump.
Seen this was £75 a few weeks ago, now reduced to £69 with FREE delivry, so just ordered the kids one.
Happy Swimming Guys!

When HUKD is filled daily with "Star Wars Battlefront" all for the sake of a few pence saving, I think it makes a refreshing change for a "£6.00" saving to be made.
Also I'm not on a water meter, so happy days.
And lastly, I'll do the "Toe Test" the days I choose to use it!
Have a fun filled and happy day mate......I know I will, after all........I saved £6 today!!!

these are great fun in the summer.dads remember to get up early to start filling them as on 1/2" bore pipe and domestic pressure it can take a fair while.also remember cost if you are on a water meter and also plan where you site it so if it should "fail" you know where that volume of water will go in a very short space of time

We have a 10 foot metal frame one now on year 6 despite leaving it out all winter - however although it got loads of use in the first year since then the weather has not been nearly as kind.

Ah that's brilliant information. Was a bit worried after my experience with the inflatable one I bought a few years back but my brother in law highly recommended the Tesco metal frame one. So happy days!

It used to take hours to refill our pond with a 1/2" garden hose after draining it to clear it out, until I started using a large coil of 1" underground conduit the previous owner had left behind, the wider bore helped as I'd hoped, but also being downhill from the tap meant it would start syphoning the water through faster. Reduced the flow from the kitchen taps quite drastically though, and may have done the same to the neighbours'.

£6 saving hardly makes this a hot deal plus the water will be freezing in a pool this size. good luck if you're on a water meter too!!!

Is there a risk when you've got an 8 month old Labrador? Most Labradors I know love to chew so not sure if the pool might tempt her.
