Chocolate comes from cocoa, which comes out of a tree. That makes it a plant. Therefore chocolate counts as salad. So enjoy it as one of your 5 a day.

Chocolate oranges were recently reduced in weight from 175g to 157g, but the "offer price" of £1 doesn't get reduced, of course. Less chocolate for your money. Rip off.

I believe it was 175g, but yeah definitely annoying. I got one the other day, noticed the slices looked different (they are now are indented at thicker end). Sure enough, when I googled it I found images showing the old weight and its Wikipedia page mentions the recent change.

The milk "chocolate" version more than likely isn't legally chocolate as it contains vegetable fats in addition to cocoa butter, so really it's just low quality chocolate flavoured confectionery. The dark doesn't contain any additional fats other than cocoa butter so is probably a better choice over the two.
