Couldn't resist picking up a couple of these this morning. My local Co-op are currently selling 2L bottles of Diet (sounds better than 'sugar free') Irn Bru for 45p each.
I asked why at the till and apparently it's due to them getting new fridges in. She reckoned it would at least be a local offer, as they're not the only store getting these new fridges, and maybe even national too (but don't blame me if it isn't). I'm assuming it's to do with their rebranding from "The Co-operative" back to the retro style "Co op" again.
There's another couple of brands they're selling off. She mentioned some kind of water as well.
I looked for dates on the bottles but couldn't find one. There nothing to indicate these may be short dated however.
Don't forget an additional 10% off if you've got a special card.

doesn't actually taste that bad as long as you don't compare it to the non diet.
