My 3yr old Sandisk just clonked out on me (it was on 24/7).
Not a bad price for 480GB, just debating if I should stick with Sandisk or look for something more suitable for 24/7 use.

The Sandisk has MLC Nand which is more durable. Otherwise go for another SSD with MLC Nand. I recommend the Crucial MX200 (or the BX100, but the MX200 has some more features).

Thank you I will give the MX200 a go.
Reinstalled Windows Server 2012 twice on my current SSD drive over the last 2 days  and both times after a while I end up with just a black screen / blinking cursor.
I can only presume the flash chips have picked up some sort of error.

Ordered Thanks. I had to pay for slow delivery even though I am a prime member in the UK. Guess its a different country that's why. Anyone got around paying for delivery?

That's normal, even if you have Prime, you always have to pay the "international delivery costs".

Are you sure this is MLC? It's stated as such on some press releases (from early 2015, and then it was only available as 120 and 240GB versions) and on some stores but not anywhere else. The only review I can find Tweaktown Review (from yesterday only infact, apparently these were never sent to reviewers) is pretty sure it's TLC, through taking apart the drive and photographing the chips, using a controller specific to TLC nand, and having the performance quirks of TLC.

This is plain Plus hence TLC. Incorrect title / description.
