Took this from one of the top reviews.
Not got a s7 Edge so cant confirm but he seems to think so.
"my S7 edge from flat to full in under 90 minutes, which is pretty fast by any standards"
is 90 minutes fast?

Only if it says fast charge and is genuine, of course. With 2A 5V input no way.

This is the original 1a slow charge version. Even the fast charge version (says fast charge on top) doesn't provide actual fast charge for the S6, not sure about the S7, sorry

It is considering it's wireless charging and the S7 Edge has quite a large battery.

I have the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and bought an Archeer brand and managed to get for £2.50 from Warehouse Deals and it does charge but takes around 2hrs from flat to full which is nearly the same as a standard usb cable charger (Not Fast Charger Plug) :
Just to clarify a few points, I've had an S7 edge for a couple of months now, which supports "fast" charging. I've bought various chargers since, for work & home, including this one (but from Amazon themselves), plus the Genuine Samsung fast charge version of this one too that says "fast charger" funnily enough.
I can confirm, as others have said, this design is a "slow" charger (doesnt say fast charger on it) version. As others have said, its difficult without seeing the back of the charger and the packaging, whether these are genuine unless sold by (not just fulfilled by) Amazon. These are currently £13.71 so I'd suggest you pay the extra. I seem to recall reading genuine ones usually having a hologram sticker on the packaging, plus being made in Vietnam (not sure as I'm at work now, so cant check) but these can be faked, so no guarantee. Fake chargers can be dangerous too.
Charging speed will vary depending on your device configuration, wifi and/or bluetooth enabled, running apps etc. "slow" (or regular /standard) chargers can also vary in output power depending on the charger cable and charger you're using.
As a very rough guide, my experience is that on my S7 edge, plugging the cable directly into the device is best (lets call that 100% speed). Next around 85-80% is the genuine wireless "fast charger", next is the Genuine Samsung wireless "slow charger at around 70-60%, with the generic wireless slow chargers coming in around 60-50%. Can vary though, so dont take that as gospel.
For best results, use a genuine 2amp Samsung "fast" charge cable and plug / adapter (says so on the plug). Again, buy from a reputable source or use the one that came with your device. I've used 3rd party and supposedly genuine ones, which charge at a slightly slower rate. They've also broken or parts cracked, so go legit.
I have a generic "slow" charger by my bed which trickle charges at a slower rate, a Samsung "quick" charger in the living room, this "slow" charger in the study and another generic "quick" one for work. I use genuine Samsung chargers/ cables for all, same 2 amp output, but obviously the chargers themselves might output between 0.7amps and upto 2 amps. In real world, this model listed by the OP just does upto/ around 1amp. Fast charger about 1.5amp.
In short, I've learnt to buy genuine from a reputable source, both the charger and cable/ plug, check your device supports "fast" charging before paying more for a fast charger, invest in a genuine 2amp charger and cable,
Hope that helps someone.
P.S. Genuine Samsung "fast" chargers have a quiet fan in the base. If you dont see vents or cant see or hear the fan if you put it next to your ear, you've probably got a slow charger or a fake one.
