This sleek stainless steel kitchen scale is designed for highly accurate weighing. The clear LCD displays both imperial and metric measurements. With a maximum capacity of 5kgs, it is ideal for the home cooks. It comes with manufacturer's 15 year guarantee.
Good price. Can you imagine going back to the manufacturer after 14 years because of a fault. Have some heat...

Yes, but good luck if you do have to claim - they will want to see an original receipt.

I'd like you to weight the science boner I've got from your posting but its already gone beyond the boundaries of physical reality and entered the realms of pure love. I feel like V'Ger when it met its origin. Respekkk dew!!!

Millilitre is a measure of density, not mass. 1ml of water = 1g, at 21c. Oil has a lower density which means it weighs less. Also 100ml of liquid will weigh differently depending on the temperature, something which these scales won't take into account, so generally 1ml = 1g.
I use Salter general purpose kitchen scales in a laboratory (I really don't fancy using my £1000 calibrated scales for more mundane tasks) and find Salter to be accurate enough within the guidelines stipulated which is either +/-1g or +/-2g depending on the model.

I've had similar to these with the screen issue. I placed an upturned ramekin on the scales, zeroed the scale and place my bowl on the ramekin to weigh out my stuff.
annoying but at least I can see the screen with the bowl raised.

Also that LCD looks like it's recessed and not smooth. Which means in our house it's going to get all sorts of flour and sugar stuck down in there! The best scales I bought a few years ago were Brabantia hanging scales for about £12.
The display is quite big and has Indiglo illumination so it's really easy and clear to read. Takes 2 x AAA batteries so they last like ages (Still on the 1st set). Plus I can hang it (as it has a top hook receptacle) on my kitchen hooks with my utensils etc. Has the usual Tare (add + weigh features etc), and measures in Lbs Kgs and millilitres. Although my lad tells me that 1g = 1 millilitre of liquid - DOH! All these years I needed scales that weigh liquid.

Im unsure if the scales on offer here are going to be practable.
I bought these and they are useless for anything bigger than a cereal bowl for reading the display. They just sit in the cupboard gathering dust.
This set looks worse.

The read out seems very close to the centre of the scale , which seems a bit odd
