So that's 'good condition', with 1 year warranty and delivery for £128.99. Seems a deal to me considering the cheapest I can find is £154.99 refurbished at FoneGiant
I understand that it is refurbished, but actually the vast, vast majority of people are clearly happy with this company and their 2nd hand products. If you'd rather pay £269.99 to Samsung for new that is your choice, but calling them rip off merchants, as if they're cowboy builders or dodgy dealers or something, seems in my opinion to be quite unfair and rather uneducated in relation to this seller, who have an extremely good past eBay profile

Great price, but their description of 'good condition': Moderate signs of wear and tear which may include scratches, chips or dents to screen and/or housing. That sounds pretty 'grade C' ish to me.
Also Please note – unit only, does not include any accessories. - I'd assume the back cover and battery are included but it's not specific.

loads of nonsense..if you cannot ell the difference between a product designed by technologically adavanced company and cheap junk from unknown factors of China then I have nothing more to say.specs and numbers alone don't make a product..you bing me a screen that even gets close to the quality OLED screen used in these and then we talk.

This isn't exactly a BAD smartphone, personally I have an LG G3 and think you can get one for a little less than this, not sure. My mum had the G4 and now has the G5, and I STILL prefer the G3, if anything I would recommend that, the specs are fantastic. Best phone I ever had

Smart ultra 6 for £100 or so, worse camera (although better with firmware updates) stuck on 5.1 and is lcd (but about the best lcd youll find) but 8 cores and better battery life. And as this is a refurb, probably much better battery life. Bit bigger, whether that's good or bad depends on point of view.

I had a friend with that issue too, unfortunately sometimes upgrades do mess up phones, not limited to this one in the least tho. Hope it sorts out mate
Smart Ultra is a great phone you'll be hard pressed to find something at 99 quid to beat it, good CPU, full HD screen, 5.5'', runs the latest Android, awesome
The camera on it kinda sucks, that puts some off, and it just looks a little bland imo, but for £99 what dyou expect
I would personally spend about £150 as this can get you into a much more upgraded area of the phone market, LG G3, Samsung S5, etc.. but people have their price limits
Mate theres nothing wrong with having a phone a while and liking it, Nova is a popular browser solution too

I got the Elephone P9000 from gearbest. The S5 I had previously had a much better camera but the P9000 is superior in almost every other way. choose a Chinese phone that doesn't modify Android too much

Really wish elephone could sort out their cameras, had my p7000 almost exactly a year now, great phone but cameras not as good a it should be. Even the vowney camera has issues.
Trying to find a suitable upgrade, but needs to have similar features, 2 SIMs + SD card, 5.5 screen, and a 2 day battery, waiting for decent reviews on the M3.

The problem with S5 refurbs by 3rd parties is that there's no official guarantee with it. A lot of people have had problem with these sort of refurbs as the phone had been taken back in due to a fault and then re-released by a 3rd party. If the phone develops a fault again, Samsung won't touch it as it's already been into them and written off and the 3rd party won't be interested after 12 months anyway.
Yes, it's cheapish but you're taking a risk if this 3rd party company doesn't take it back if it develops a fault and after 12 months, you're on your own.
I appreciate that he simply shifts used stuff and is not going to have time to check the items being sent out, but if the phone/CD/DVD/item or whatever it is he's selling doesn't work properly, he'd should be refunding and covering return postage in full, not asking the buyer to meet the cost, not leaving them out of pocket.

'He' is a big UK company selling 2nd hand, well, everything. 500 negatives in the past month compared to what?
129,000 positive in the last month. You are compared 500, to 129k. It just doesn't even compare mate

But it's easy to get a lot of positive reviews. You sell a load of used CDs, and most of them will be fine, especially if you're bulk selling like he is. The real sign of a quality seller is what happens things don't go according to plan. In that regard, his track record isn't the best. A used £2 CD, you can write off if it doesn't work, but a £125 mobile phone that has all your data and passwords on it is going to leave you high and dry if it malfunctions. What are you going to do? Send it back to this 3rd party second hand CD/DVD bulk selling guy? What does he know about repairing Samsung phones? What's he's going to do when he has access to all your email accounts, passwords and other logins? You must be very trusting. Steve Oliver who's the managing director of that business, was also managing director of Music Zone, which went bankrupt leaving debts of over £31m.
Have a read of people commenting on this seller's business practices:
I'm not gonna get into an argument here its pointless, you have your opinion and I have mine. I don't care about his past business dealings, or if he's got webbed feet, or if he's 5'8 or 7'3, I just know that this seller has over 1.7mil positives, only 8k negatives, hes got a good phone at a good price with delivery and a warranty
(I still don't get why it's 'he' when we're talking about a multi million £ business, but ok)
BUZZIN_NICE

great phone until Samsung totally ruined it with their latest update - constantly using a load of ram whilst actually doing nothing. Various times its totally unresponsive and locks up, despite clearing cache and all other tricks. My only hope is a factory reset, I'd be better off going back to an old Samsung S2!

If 150 quid is your limit I would get an LG G3, cheap, 2.5Ghz quad core CPU, 2560x1440 resolution, 3GB RAM, best screen on a phone I ever had, good battery size at 3000mA (S5 is 2800) and a 13MP camera with auto laser focus.
Not to mention currently on Marshmallow 6.0, latest OS, runs like a dream. Imo the best price-performance ratio of any smartphone atm, can't state how amazing this phone is for the money

My wife's G3 I had to manually update via my laptop using the LG PC Suite, doing a firmware update search on the phone itself from within Lollipop would not find any OTA (over the air) update.
I suggest you do the same with your G4 and install the LG PC Suite and you should be able to update to Marshmallow with that.
