Figured this was worth sharing. Heard the new advert today and did some searching online. Scheme has always existed but now features a bigger boost than ever before! The EE scheme essentially rewards PAYG loyalty and acts as a retention incentive, looks pretty good!!!
"With Free Boost, the longer people stay with us, the more data we give them. If they add one of our monthly pay as you go packs each month, after three months they can get a 500MB free boost to their monthly data allowance.
And the best thing? They can do it again and again and again. So if their pack’s monthly data allowance is 500MB, it will go up to 1GB after three months. And if they stick with their pack for another three months they can boost it to 1.5GB. Then 2GB. And so on.
It’s our way of saying thanks for staying with us. And it’s the best way of getting loads of free data every month on the UK’s no.1 network.
Also, using My EE, customers can:
See how they are progressing towards their boost (e.g. how many packs away they are from it)
What data they've got left
What they'll get next"

what happened if they don't subscribe the monthly pack anymore? Will they still get the boost?

Hm good question. Do you mean they still top up but don't purchase the pack every month?

How does this affect people who are already on this scheme & have accrued boosts?

Important things to remember about Free Boosts
Gaps between packs
You don’t need to buy your packs one after another to get your Free Boost – if you have a gap between packs we’ll pause counting and carry on as soon as you buy your next pack. You will get your Free Boost as soon as you have bought three 30-day packs or 12 seven-day packs.
You have 60 days to choose your Free Boost
If you haven’t chosen your Free Boost after 60 days, you won’t be able to boost your pack allowances until you are eligible for another Free Boost. We’ll send you a text to tell you when you are eligible again, so you don’t miss out.
Changing the duration of your pack
If you change from a 30-day pack to a seven-day pack, or vice versa, you will lose any Free Boosts you have and will need to buy the required number of packs again to get another Free Boost.

so how much does the cheapest monthly "pack" cost, to qualify for this?
I've no idea how any of this works, if they need multiple people trying to explain it then it's a marketing fail.
I've actually got one of the EE payg sims, and they bombard you with pointless text messages about god knows what.
All it has got going for it is that at £1 a week it's relatively cheap.
