Don't give the publishers ideas, but the main reason I used to purchase various PlayStation magazines was for the demos.

Then they need to add the price for the subscription to the deal.price.

Wow just got home from work to see all the heat! Amazing. Although I did mean to post it in freebies on the app... Not sure what went wrong there! I guess it's not a freebie seeing as it's stayed as a deal

Has the world gone mad,you now have to pay a subscription just so you can try a demo of a game that is designed to entice you to buy the full game,so essentially you have to pay to be advertised to.

Whats wrong with trying to be pt? im glad they are trying something like this since pt doesn't exist.
yeah I finished it quickly, there is multiple endings, all roughly the same.

been stung off console makers too many times over the last 20 years (Sega 32x, ps vita etc etc) no matter how many fancy hardware demos they bring out and believe me this is a just a big demo) there's no way I'm touching ps vr or ps 4.5 for that matter with a barg pole. so I'm voting cold cause I'm not getting conned again!!!!

I pay annually, but you can buy a month for £6.
Its a shame I have to explain that...no suprise though

Yay for Resident Evil 7! That said this is trying so hard to be P.T it's ridiculous. Also I literally finished the demo in under 5 minutes...what the hell. Played it through a second time and finished it by a different means so I guess they want you to replay it several times. I think.

So to get this demo, you have to pay £6.
I'm used to much crap from Sony, but now asking people for a subscription fee to be able to download a DEMO is quite pushing it.

Loving the anger at this not being a "deal".

Set up a guest account on your PS4,
Dont use the same email address as your primary account it must be a different one, then once you have set up the guest account you should be able to go on the PSN store and get a 2 day trial of psn+ for free.

CD Keys. Use a laptop or desktop PC and go to their facebook page and like for 5% discount. They sell the cards at a discount anyway so you get an additional £5 off. Typically a £35 card costs £30 doing it this way.

Steady there, skippy, calm down. It was just a guess. I don't much care which way they're releasing it, I was just making a suggestion to explain the short length people were talking about. What they've actually done is so stupid, it really didn't occur to me as a possibility. Estimations of Capcom duly downgraded.

Yep in 1994 and they came free with Magazines.
These days what we previously called a demo is now commonly called Alpha / Beta or Early Access with a publisher wanting your money asap for game that is just about stable (If you are a lucky)

Except having a membership does so getting a short one still would.

It's a full game in the sense Street Fighter 5 was, missing lots of content such as zombies, guns, story mode, character animation and voice acting is done using back catalogue of resident evil 1 sound effects.
But not to worry by the time the game is released it'll add one of the missing features above and the rest will release monthly as dlc.

I don't think that gets you exclusive content. I could be wrong though.

The point is, where do you stop? You could draw a parallel with EA Access on the xb1, it wouldn't be right to post a 'deal' every time a new EA game neared release so you could play SIX hours of the full game for 'free'...
