Good game, but out of interest, who decided it was game of the year? Did it get GOTY awards?

You should. I thoroughly enjoyed Project CARS. It was a nightmare when I fist started playing, I seriously had trouble even driving on the straights. Had I not have purchased it digitally for £44.99, I would seriously have this in my basket.
You drive cars around a track. I'm not sure how you can determine a level of excitement from that. It's a similar setup, if not exact to all driving games. You start a race, race the race and then finish the race.

Agreed- I'd even be tempted to pick up Assetto Corsa at £30 instead. This game is very boring....

Out of stock now unfortunately - heat for the price though! Would of definitely bought it had I been fast enough :disappointed:

I just can't get on with this game. The go karts were fine and felt right with the steering wheel but anything else just doesn't turn, even going around shallow bends.

Missed it. Shame. Heat added. Nice price for the GOTY edition.

This game really requires a steering wheel imo

I appreciate that Buzz, but for me the lack of currency and clear progression in career mode held it back. Enjoyed some of the events, but too many invitationals coupled with no need to raise funds to purchase new cars. For a racing game it even seems dull....racing round a track sort of comes with the territory in this type of game :stuck_out_tongue:
