These come and go on HUKD. Bought them previously and are great for cheap headphones. They are now even cheaper than previously posted.

I have these and my opinion is that the ear seal is great and the sound is neutral, as in not tinny and not bass-heavy. They remind me of Sony MDR-100s in their audio profile.
Ears are different shapes of course so they may not suit all. They do come with a variety of silicone plugs to suit different lug sizes.
Better than the usual JVC Gumy type things you get on the high street for around a fiver. They've also survived a couple of months in my bag and pocket.
At this price they are a no brainer for me. Might buy another pair now they are down in price again.

how do they compare to the dual driver ones? which of course is several times more expensive, but are they several times lower in quality/sound quality as well? http://www.gearbest.com/earphones/pp_261864.html

Mine arrived after 6 weeks, turned out to be worse than the earphones I got with my HTC One M8, I would not waste money on this.

I've got a pair of these & they have really good sound for buds - my normal cans are the sennheiser hd598 that i use every day so I'm used to listening in good quality

anyone knows how they compare against the dual driver ones? I would rather pay the small extra if they got so much better sound, however if they are just more or less same in sound quality than no point.

I have both the Xiaomi dual driver and the fully fledged Xiaomi Piston 3's ( not sure what difference there is between these and the starter edition but from the spec there certainly seems to be ). I prefer the Piston 3's by a long shot as they fitted my ears better and didn't sound so harsh. The sound was quite suprising for the small cost and definetly compare well with headphones in the £30-40 bracket. Just to note I normally use AKG 452 and Sennheiser HD25-1 II both of which have quite a nice neutral sound, which is why I quite liked the Piston 3.
However the Original Piston 3 are out of stock but that soon changes (they are genuine too) and worth waiting for.
I bought the dual driver ones. The wire is stiff, you need to unwind it often because of this reason. Also does not sit very well in my ears, probably because the stiff wire gradually pushes it out. Sound is good, but overall comfort isn't. I have gone back to my HTC earphones that have a flat wire and good enough sound.

I bought these, the sound and build are great for the price. An irritation for me is the noise from the cable rustling against my clothes, other headphones don't suffer this quirk.

I totally respect your opinion, but your username compels me to state the extent of your knowledge
