EA last year gave this and Need for Speed Most Wanted for free on PS3

I thought the beta gameplay was pretty good but it ran terribly for me. I think the problem was the RAM usage. RAM committed was showing up as 13GB vs the 8GB I had installed

The 50 quid they're asking is ludicrous, but that's what they seem to think games cost these days. The original was one of my favourite games of the last generation. I'll give this new one a chance, but I think the first was - like Portal - a rare explosion of brilliance in the dark night of gaming.

Yeah the first one was ok.
This looks the same but shinier, and apparently the combat controls are even worse.
