This is click and collect at store (free), or can be delivered for and additional £3.99 next day delivery.
I was looking at this in Currys, and almost bought it at £89.99. Though a quick search and I found it at almost half price at Jessops. As I was already in Currys, I asked if they would price match, and they did.

Description
The Compact Advanced three-way head features an inventive, foldable three-way head for great stability and accuracy in framing your subject. This tripod is target at more advanced photo enthusiasts who own an entry level DSLR with standard zoom lenses up to 200 mm.
This three-way head has two independent, ergonomic levers. One controls both pan and tilt movement simultaneously whereas the second controls levelling. With these two control-levers, you can easily obtain level, well-framed images and regulate all movements independently.
This head has been specifically designed to minimise dimensions and maximise portability. A mechanism allows the levers to be folded when the head is not in use, making the tripod easier and more convenient to carry.
The high performance three-way head combined with reinforced, five-section tubes make this tripod the optimal solution for rigidity whilst also being able to reach the height of 165 cm/65 in when extended.
Compatibility
The Compact Advanced 3-Way Head is designed to work perfectly with entry level DSLRs with standard zoom lenses up to 200mm but are compatible also with any device up to 3.0kg/6.61lbs. Please consider that a lot of semi-professional and professional equipment exceeds these requirements.

as usual the Currys HELPINE (oh the irony) were completely useless....ill pop into my local store later this morning as they have stock and will see what they say...if they turn down a purchase which is practically in their laps then they cannot be helped.
Thanks OP for the tip, heat added for a great price

Odd, ignore the RRP, this was £39.99 a few months back so in fact the price has gone up.......

Was just about to state the same, as I posted the £39.99 deal - which was a real steal at the time. Good product, but not worth more than £40.

Hi Jenn,
The obvious time machine, come to mind.
But seriously, was it this one or could it have been the manfrotto compact which was £39.99. As I did buy one of those for that price.

Exact same one... just £10 more than we paid for it a few months back... Jessops have simple added £10 and started fooling people with the RRP... Not worth more than £40, does a job at £40 but it's way too wobbly for me.

I do thanks, it's not really a deal if the price has gone up by £10 and has been consistently £49.99 since it was £39.99 a few months back.... The RRP is worthless....

Good man Peter
Its something we all should do, carry our tablet, laptop or even desktop computer if need be to make sure we get a bargain. Failing that i have been known to make promises to shop staff along the lines of " If you drop the price I'll give you a tip" . Many of them seem quite upset when they find the tip is a bit of advice and not one involving money.

My family hate shopping with me, because I never take anything at face value.
