This is a belting deal for excellent quality Makita drill driver, 2 3AH batteries, an impact driver macpac and charger. The cheapest I have found this set for elsewhere is 206 but is usually sells for more like 225 - 250. The batteries are plenty big enough for any serious DIY enthusiast but a pro would probably want longer lasting cells. Makita build quality is extremely good these tools will last years of abuse before needing repairing / replacing. Hope someone finds this useful.

Maybe want to put 'LXT' in the title so folks don't compare it against the cheaper B&Q Makita..?
Voted hot, but the carry cases are rubbish, for a top end tool the case should be a better design and/or better made, the clips fail very quickly.

Screw fix have a better one, just spotted it in local today.
why do you say the other deal is better?
This looks like a much more powerful drill set for an extra £10. This one is 62KN the other one is only 42Kn.
Don't get me wrong they are both great drills but I think this one is the better choice for the money.

Yes you're correct, this one is better than the Screwfix one, I posted the Screwfix one as a deal and it's gone scorching compared to this, reason? I put LXT in the title probably.. OP on this one was a tad late I think in following my advice in first post, otherwise this would be 500deg. +

Screwfix may still do cash back Via Quidco. worth a look.
