See a few people using these with chromcasts and this has just dropped down in price as I was watching it for a while.. Was 23.99 for this colour.. I know the 2020 version is selling for this price still

I don't understand why did you need 2? I have several and 1 has always driven 2 speakers a left and right.

While we're on the subject can anyone recommend a good pair of speakers to go with it. Ceiling or bookshelf

I have 3 Chromecasts, 2 of them are connected to these amps, one is running connected to this ceiling speaker and one is connected to a pair of Diamond Wharfedale 9.0's (although the Diamond Wharfedale's seem to frequently be on offer as low as £40, so you might want to wait a bit if interested - do a search on here, they are usually posted).
The ceiling speaker has two channel connections, which it merges (so taking a stereo source and merging it, replacing two speakers with a one). Depending on your usage a pair of ceiling speakers may suit better, I think the same company do a pair for not much more.
Both sound really good for the price in my opinion, the ceiling speaker is in a bathroom and the bookshelf's are in the kitchen.

I'm doing the same thing with ceiling speakers.. Have a couple of Pyle ceiling ones. So I'll see how it goes...
