Another seller on eBay has the watch at 2.85 if your willing to wait a few months for China post.

There seem to be plenty of the same model on Ebay for <£3 from China or <£5 from UK sellers, so this is a pretty poor deal.

Imagine the worst factory in China... the oldest most badly maintained machines churning out the shoddiest of goods which are rejected by pound shops, these are snapped up by B&M.
Once they have decided they cant sell the items, they are sold en masse to sea side souvenir shops who fleece tourists for pennies... the remaining stock is eventually binned and sent to land fill, where Maplin staff dig it up in the dead of night - often using their Rolson tools and headlights (conveniently flattening the batteries)
