Ummmm, the specs on Amazon say write speed 10B/s for the G3 version, and they aren't making any claims at all about this one,
It might be able to record morse code in real time though.

I have 2 of these, along with 2 of the 64GB versions. They are definitely a lot faster than the normal USB 2.0 sticks. Good price.

Shouldn't the question be how much faster than USB 3.0 it is? USB 2.0 was released in the year 2000..!

The USB 2.0 Profile was still in its conceptual stage in 1998!.
As Microsoft had considered incorporating it into the belly of Windows 98, but as it was in Beta Stages at the time (rather than finalised), Microsoft decided not to include it within Windows 98, etc?.
But at the end of the year 1998/the beginning of 1999, the USB 2.0 Profile was not just ready, it was actually finalised, so .....

If you have a computer that supports USB 3 this will be around 3x faster than a USB 2 drive (e.g. the Toshiba one that's currently hot).
It's an add-on item, so only available with orders over £20.
