Is this for re-chargeable batteries only or is it one of those which recharge normal batteries as well

any charger will charge non rechargables, but your risking leaking/explosion. plus they could only charge maybe 2 or 3 times
this is overkill for aa/aaa but if you run 18650 battery's (most e-cigs) then this is perfect

Excellent just ordered 4 X 18650 batteries ( 2600mha confirmed ) and presently only got a cheap crappy charger that came with the same cheap crappy batteries so this will go well with the new batteries. Heat from me

You need a special charger to recharge primary cells, I nearly built one once from a electronics magazine design, it used biased AC pulse charging. Apparently it is only really successful if the batteries are only partially discharged and you don't leave it too long before recharging them.

This charger is completely unsuitable.
