It seems to have a bit of a (recent) mixed reception on Steam. When I took a look at the reviews I was met with a ocean of thumbs downs, not sure how though, the reviews are heavily in its favour.
WARNING: Hurtworld is still very early in development. It may be worth waiting until we are further through development before getting on board (We're not going anywhere).
Hurtworld is a hardcore multiplayer survival FPS with a focus on deep survival progression that doesn't become trivial once you establish some basic needs. That feeling when you're freezing to death trying to make a fire, or you're defenceless being chased by creatures. These experiences are what make a survival game. When you overcome that challenge and find a level of comfort it's a great feeling, but what do you do next?
Hurtworld tempts you out of your comfort zone with rich resources, better loot and higher tech. It will also throw more dangerous creatures, harsher environments and new challenges at you that can't be taken on without the proper gear or refined skill. Will you settle for bows and arrows and a campfire, or push deeper into the map and start scavenging for vehicle parts and better weapons?
Built from the ground up with solid multiplayer foundations. Designed for fast skill based PVP and PVE. You will constantly have to decide which is the biggest threat, the player opposite you or the creatures that will hear your gunshot.
It's £18.99 on Steam, so if it intrigues you in the slightest then it's a no brainer. Thanks for posting, dude. Heat added

Cancelled my sub, not interested in this at all, especially considering it's the main attraction of next month's bundle. Heat added anyway!

Been having enough of Rust recently so couldn't take another of these survival games on- they are a bit of a nightmare time wise.

Anybody got a trade thread for unwanted codes? I want to get hold of some Steam games for myself before giving away some codes for Illusionary's weekly giveaway.
Have a few from the last few monthly bundles and some from a few individual ones.
Particularly after Walking Dead seasons/add ons (already have Season 1).

I've cancelled my sub for this month too, I'm baffled that an early access game with terrible recent reviews is the main game - it doesn't bode well for the rest of the bundle if Hurtworld is supposed to be the best of them.

Is it just me or are there too many survival games now? Like, way too many. I got H1Z1 at Christmas and haven't had time to get into that properly yet, plus I still have Rust and Ark: Survival Evolved from previous Humble Monthly bundles that I haven't touched yet and we just got The Forest in June's. Then I look at my Steam library and see games like 7 Days to Die, Grav that I forgot I had, and on my wishlist there's things like Life is Feudal, The Black Death, The Long Dark and I just saw another new one with dinosaurs the other day, forget what it was called. And they're all in Early Access so you don't know which ones are good now or whether they'll get better or worse. I mean this looks great but the reviews make it sound as though the devs have abandoned it - but then maybe it will pick up again if they get lots more money/players from it being in a Humble Monthly. Argh!
Not sure about on HUKD itself but these are the sites where I trade games (If I can post links here) - Steam Gifts Barter.vg

Cheers for the links.
I have played about 10% of my library, I just don't have 100 hours a week to dedicate to playing games. I wish I did though.
