I can't say I've really heard of this Hisense brand before. Can anybody tell me more about this brand? Not looking for a top notch model but still want something half decent

Been trying tp get the misses onside regarding getting the 50" Hisense. seems to have pretty good reviews, picture quality supposed to be pretty decent, smart tv side of things supposed to be quite slow but lets be honest who uses the smart tv on their tv these days? personally hardly used mine at all on my Samsung.

picture good. sound good. hisense is the underdog in the market so time will tell. But for a 40 inch with 2 yrs warranty ,I had no excuse. Cheapest I've seen it for on Amazon. I was torn between this and the Samsung ue40j5100 . the price helped. Cheers for the post heat added.
