God of war 4 looks pretty awesome. I've got this on PS3 and loved it. I am not sure if to get this.

If you want slightly more snazzy graphics and to get you in the mood for God of War PS4 release, then why not. If you already have it on PS3 and don't mind the PS3 style graphics etc. which still hold up well enough, then probably best to leave.

Got this recently and it really hasn't aged well. New God of War looks ace, this is good but showing its age now.

This is so not my kind of game.. Ye old button bash hack n slash! It comes that highly recommended though I'll admit I'm definitely tempted.. Anyone played this version of it that hadn't played the PS3 version like to shed some light on experiences would be much appreciated :smiley:

I would say the most annoying things is the fixed camera which they're changing for the PS4 game. The combat is buttery smooth though from when i played and reviewed well enough.

if you choose to just spam square then its really your own fault. the game has combos and it has a lot of variants and different weapons. the game is amazing and one of ps greatest exclusives. the franchise is my favorite franchise in gaming. you should get it since its cheap.

Depends on if you would be willing to buy and play on the remastered PS3 versions. It's a good series but it will shows its age about now. That's why they changed so much for PS4 version just revealed. If you just want to be caught up on Lore etc, then maybe just watch an entire playthrough on YouTube or read about it on Wikipedia etc.

This is the only one I've played and explains enough at the start of the game if I came recall. completely understood the story and enjoyed it a lot.
