I think this is an ideal Father's day gift. Latest Costco coupon starts tomorrow. My local warehouse (Milton Keynes) just received special gift packs with 2 nice solid whisky tumblers and a little book. I was going to buy it at this price, but with this pack I am buying two!
Id rather have this than highland park any day, everyone likes different things, your comment shows your ignorance to whisky.

No fan of it myself, and would certainly prefer Highland Park. But the OP had described this deal as a Father's Day gift on account of the glasses and book, making no reference to the whisky quality. You've proposed the HP as an alternative to the OP if they spend a bit more, but the offer contains neither the glasses nor book or anything similar.
It's not all that helpful is it really.

it's a great price. But the problem is that it's not a particularly nice whisky! tastes best in porridge with cream.

Found a set in my local, never had it before so will make my own mind up how it tastes, very nice quality glasses as well.
