why does it always add £4 to the total when buying from Tesco even if you choose to pick up from store? is there a way to rid besides having to spend 40 quid/

If it's dairy free, does that just mean it's good old unfashionable margarine?

I was under the impression Flora with the exception of the buttery ones had always been dairy free as it was Sunflower oil spread

Beware this is mostly made of rapeseed oil, which has very little nutritional benefit and is cheap to source!
It is manufacturer and not very natural at all. In fact, a toxic solvent called hexane is used to extract the oil from the seeds. Trace amounts of hexane have sometimes been found in cooking oils.
I personally have a bad reaction to rapeseed oil and hay-feverish symptoms when walking or driving past a field of rape plants so wouldn't buy this but if you're happy to eat it then it's a decent freebie.

Vegetable oils are a good source of unsaturated and some omega fats, it's not exactly bereft of nutrition. Hexane has been used for nearly a century and has a low toxicity, about 1 litre of pure hexane will probably be enough. Whereas something fairly everyday such as caffeine, only about 20g of will likely do the same. It's estimated that there's an average of 0.8 parts per million of residual hexane left in 1kg of vegetable oil. The dose makes the poison.
You will be breathing in far more hexane daily from petrol stations and vehicle exhaust than you could ever ingest from all of your food.

Certainly an improvement on the 'improved' Vitalite which now has the taste and quality of axle grease.
