Was tempted, then watched this and thought hmmm, maybe not. For people that know what they're doing these look great though :smile:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2tF0tK7P_s

Thanks for that vid. Found it very amusing. Gotta love the effort.
They are fairly easy to ride once you get used to them. The tyres have to be pumped up to maximum pressure and the rider focuses on an object ahead and dont look down.A very good price, you are buying new for the price of second hand.

I wondered what would happen if you came off one of these. Now I know! I wondered if the wheels could have enough inertia to push the bike forward. It seems not!

Great price. But rollers are to much work. Turbo is much better and yields better results per time spent training.

Rollers train your technique as well, so depends on what you're after. Horses for course, etc.

Bought these last week from halfords. I am a keen mountain biker, they are great for improving balance and i am surprised how much of a work out they offer when you get going.
i wouldn't advise clipping in for the first few attempts ha but i use flats anyway. put the rollers between a door way so you can grab on to it if you need to. they don't take long to get used to

does it fit a mountain bike? they have pretty long wheelbases. (mountain biker myself)

rollers are really meant for smooth wheels, so you'd have to take your knobblies off first. kind of defeats the object as the the advantage of rollers is you can just use your regular bike on them.
