Dyson DC40 Multi Floor Upright Vacuum Cleaner - Refurbished - 2 Year Guarantee
Light and durable. Strong suction at the cleaner head.
DC40 has a self-adjusting cleaner head that seals in suction on carpets and hard floors. There’s no need to turn awkward dials or press buttons.
Dyson cyclones are more efficient than others – more dust and dirt is flung out of the airflow and into the bin.

Seriously? DC40 is £215 and £220 in Currys.
£70 for years extra warranty and new.
Since Dyson do not provide a 5 year warranty on a refurb, they have no confidence it will last any longer.

nope, it's because it would undermine their new product sales.
No body said it was was the wrong model. Just you quoted £220 for Curry's, which obviously was incorrect.
I also believe its available from Tesco direct and Amazon, around the £220 mark.
However this is still £149.99 it maybe refurbished, it might only have a 2 year warranty. However its a good hoover for this price, direct from the manufacture. So for someone on a tight budget, this is ideal.

The point was they are not c£350. I think a model that is not new is not worth c£150, if a new one is £60 more with free tools and 3 years extra warranty.
Can you can really Dyson a Hoover? They are both brand names and trade marks.
If Dyson is a Hoover, a Hoover can be a Dyson, but it is not!
A Dyson is a vacuum cleaner and not a Hoover

I bought a Dyson from their eBay store. It arrived damaged and the customer service was fantastic. They offered to send me a brand new one instead and so I got the 5 year warranty and everything. Very cook
