Looks good for the money, I got the U2515H this time last year and have been really happy with it. The resolution is a great fit for the panel size

I'm curious about this as well. There's hardly any reviews of this monitor and I'm a bit concerned about the blur and pixel response+signal processing lag.

I’m using the same monitor as I type this and I’m very pleased with it. It’s a crisp nice looking screen with excellent viewing angles. and if you’re a digital artiest like me It’s great. I’ve been considering getting another 2 to replace my old 1080p monitors that sit either side of this monitor and at this price I might just go for it. Nice spot op :smiley:

Not bad at all but a bit small for a 2560*1440 screen imho. 1440/1600p screens started out at 30", which I think is about the ideal size for that res without scaling.

Scaling is always an option but then you lose screen space and hence some of the point of that higher res. I've used 1440p on a 28" screen and without scaling that is about the useable limit....

This is more than a 100% sRGB monitor, at it is a wide gamut model (able to cover close to 100% of the aRGB and DCI-P3 gamuts), with hardware calibration and uniformity correction, PIP and more.

I purchased its bigger brother (UP2716D), which has the same characteristics but is 2" larger, but ended up returning it as quality was poor (edge bleeding, non uniform colour, etc.).

If you plan on buying this, do check Ballicom's return policy as this can be a very serious issue even if the price is great

The HD4600 definitely can, but whether it will work for you depends on your motherboard too as not all of them will support HDMI output at [email protected]

Dell UltraSharp monitors are fantastic! I recommend them all day long.

I recently went from a 24" to 27" and was worried that it might be massive to sit in front of, but it's not at all and now it is the minimum size I would buy for a desktop. I reckon 25" is slightly too small for anything over 1080p but if you have good eyesight it would be great.

First we had to get used to 1920x1080 being referred to as 1080p. then when 4k came out they didn't call it 2160p but 4k! Same with 8k. The 2560x1440 res has been around for ages which also got changed into Retina display by jobs mob.

Cracking monitors. Have 2 Dell 2713UH's and a 2715H (I know, overkill, but found a massive bargain on eBay) and they're excellent.

I sit in front of 6x P2416D which are 24" at this res every day, and it's absolutely fine. I did try 4k in a 24" and it doesn't work. Scaling in desktop OSs is still rubbish too so it wasn't enjoyable. My eyes are in good nick (at the moment) though.

Would be buying this if I hadnt bought a similar benq the other week, good deal!

Well I was going to buy this monitor then saw it was apparently 2k so would be a downgrade from my dual U2515s. One of the more correct terms for 1440p is UHD although confusingly marketing departments are now calling all sizes greater than HD UHD (which of course, they are right to do so).

If deal poster had just put "2560x1440" in the title there would have been no problem.

I think the correct term for 1440p is 1440p but when I bought my monitor approximately 2.5 years ago, searching for them was a real minefield. I ended up just eBay searching "2560x1440 monitor" to find the type that I wanted.

I used to use Trust Pilot until, one day, I posted a bad review of a vendor and Trust pilot deleted it. Nowadays, I wouldn't trust anything that's shown on the site because it's totally biased. By all means read the reviews but remember that trust pilot is there to help the seller and gets paid by the seller to do so. It therefore has a vested interest in keeping the seller happy.

Native resolution is 60Hz at 2k, if you wanna push it up to its max of 75Hz you'll have to push down the resolution, effectively making it a 75hz 1080p monitor

Considering you can pick up a rlly good Asus 1080p 144Hz monitor for 160 -180 quid, this isn't really that great for gaming

It has a built in 3.5mm output for other speakers. I use mine with a Bose soundlink 3. It'll connect them to whichever input you're currently using.

The Dell soundbar is nice because it clips into the bottom, there won't be any other soundbars that will.

Yes it does. I have that 3.5mm cable connected but the monitors integrated speakers really aren't up to much unfortunately.

I guess you could also just double sided tape or something to affix it to the bottom of the monitor though.

The screen on the qnix? It's awesome. I paid £200 for mine but they have come down in price since then. On a good day you can pick one up from a Korean eBay seller for around £150 including 3 day delivery to the UK.

They can usually be overclocked to 100-120hz as well but I don't do that on mine.

Got mine and the colour is really good, even better than my old thunderbolt display, and the screen is closer to the surface.

text on 25 inch for this resolution is a bit small compared to 27 inch, but i got used to in a few minutes.

I can't help with the comparison but I have a 15h and it's great. I was going to chop it in for 3 x 16d but reading about the ongoing uniformity issues on the Dell forum puts me off:

Added that the normal response time is 18ms as opposed to 8ms on the 15h (both are 6ms in fast mode), I think I'm going to get 2 more 15h from Amazon.

I put mine in fast and notice no difference.

I have had both, didn't notice any issues with the new one, but couldn't spend more than a couple minutes comparing as I had to go away the day i arrived. Colour is better on the new one IMO

i bought the little brother of it(DellP2416D) one month ago. I had a 21,5'' 1080p 60 hz ips. And WOW! Improvement is huge, All games including the most recent ones(DOOM Mirror edge catalyst rise of the tomb raider just cause 3 far cry primal SF5 Quatnum Break Homefront revolution) look much better than they did on the 21,5'' 1080p that i had. Even older games like Mortal Kombat 10 Batman Arkham Knight Injustice gods amog Us e.t.c. saw a big improvement. it was worth the 300 euros i spent for it. My pc is 2500k 3,3ghz 12 gb ram ddr3 1600 mhz gtx 970 g1 gaming 4gb.. Of course i saw that decrease in perfomance of the pc but still the upgrade was worth it. I went from a simple 100 euro monitor to a 300 euro mid range one. Very very good. If you have a pc similar to mine or better but you are still on 1080p monitor then i recomend it!!!
