Is this a decent version? I love this series but seem to remember someone warning me off the quality of the blu Ray version.

Blu-Ray.com gives the video quality 4.8 out of 5 and the audio quality a full 5 - and those guys are picky!
It was shot on film so you'll really see the benefit of a decent Blu-Ray transfer if you're coming from DVD or however you've watched it before.
Apparently there was an issue with the audio with some copies (which might be what you're thinking of) but I don't know if that's been resolved or whether it might be found in this batch.
