If you use the correct heat setting for each item of clothing, you shouldn't have much bother with the soleplate being stainless steel. And besides, if you do have any issues, you can always clean the soleplate up. There are loads of websites online telling you how to do so easily. For £9.50 you are getting a good brand with a great wattage. Heat from me op :smiley:
