have been looking for a very light weight laptop/tablet with keyboard for the OH as she needs to use for Word processing (taking notes during client sessions) and web-browsing when on wifi.
Saw a Lenovo Miix 300 at Sainsburys this morning @ £149 and thought it would fit the bill. Browsing the net, found a refurb on Argos Outlet ebay for £89.99. Item description does not mention Miix 300; however EAN number 889955327765 refers to it.
Again this is for Word processing and web-browsing only as people will point to only 2GB RAM and 32GB storage (although microSD expandable). 2xUSB ports on the keyboard.
Hope it has not been a duplicate post and helps someone.

I have the Miix 8 and, so far, I've been really happy with it. It was a bit of a pain in the ass to get upgraded to Win10 but these come with it already installed. One of the first things to do - do all your backups, create your restore disk etc/drive and then get rid of the recovery partition to free up a load of space.
Seems a very good price but I wanted a smaller, lighter set up - pairing it with a bluetooth keyboard with trackpad and but together tip the scales at around 500g, so this is pretty light.

Bought one of these a few weeks ago and so far not too bad. The negatives for me are - a) the wifi doesn't always connect unless it's right next to my modem, and I also had trouble connecting to some public wifi when my cheap Tesco connect tablet as well as a nokia phone connected ok
b) another problem is that the cursor sometimes dances around the screen and won't stay still when I'm trying to do something on ebay - not ideal when you need to scroll down a page or place a bid. The cursor also decides to highlight text at random now and then, but these problems might not be specific to this machine, I'm not savvy enough to know where the blame lies, but it doesn't happen with the aforementioned Tesco connect tablet, both using windows.

It'll play older games at acceptable frame rates - I've had Burnout Paradise on medium settings playing well on my Linx 8

Sounds like you may have malware on your computer.

Was thinking about buying the kids something like this last Christmas, but found nothing at all with a budget at double this. Seems early to buy for next Christmas, as they'll lose half of their warranty, but by Christmas something like this will be extortionate. Sure, it won't play GTA 5, but the kids play miniclip games, mostly web based. The benchmark isn't too bad for the money, like 1200+. Hot from me.
