There is another deal about £10 cheaper for this drive i know ,but its from Germany, this is UK and you can collect straight away.
You don't have to wait for delivery or risk it being broken on its overseas journey (or translate German).
Think of the return costs and delays if it turns out to be faulty.
This would be a more sensible purchase i think, returns with Argos are very easy.
Also includes mcafee but that is probably not much benefit to anyone - its not like mr McAfee cares much about 'his' software anymore : D

Same price at Amazon. For items like this, you don't need to wait in for delivery, just get it sent to a collection point. For most people probably more convent than visiting an Argos store.
and by the way, it was £20 cheaper at Amazon Germany, not £10.
You omitted postage, and you do still have to wait it doesn't just magically transfer form Germany in a split second, which is the point i was making.
Some would prefer to buy in the uk for the ease and security, consideration for possible issues is always a sensible policy.
Its just easier and no problems with German language or power adapters, a couple of quid is worth it for less hassle in my opinion, If a hard drive goes i need a replacement fast, and if it comes borked , i want to replace that fast too.

Ha ,but which bland casing is better though ?
I still think the immediate collection adds value, how much would next day guaranteed morning delivery be , i don't know but it wont be pennies and even then its still slower and more awkward,

No the £90 and a few pennies included postage. Delivery was from a UK Amazon warehouse, within 3 days.
What security issues are you worried about?
The amazon.de site has an English Beta button. Which translates most of the relevant information into, guess what, English - actually better than some of the English in your description :sunglasses:
And, it's not a 'couple of quid', otherwise I might have agreed with you to some degree.
But yes, if you want it 'now', then Argos will 'just magically transfer' one to you.

Cheaper to buy from an Amazon URL via Flubit....saved me more a month or so ago when I bought one
