Any proof of that apart from facebook posts?
As
fluoride replacing hydroxyl groups in the tooth crystal, thereby forming fluorapatite. Fluorapatite is less soluble in acid than hydroxyapatite, which means that a tooth containing fluorapatite dissolves slowly in the low pH value found in plaque, and accordingly, remineralizes faster in the intervals between sugar ingestion.
But you can in effect get he same result from just toothpaste.
It also selects for bacteria that is less damaging as well oppose to S.mutans

Think I got the black version at christmas for 8 quid with 6 months worth of filters pretty happy with it, makes me drink more water if anything, you can also taste the difference

This filter will not remove fluoride, but don't worry, there's no evidence that fluoride has any negative effects.
